Handwritten census pages and a family Bible on a reading table

Genealogy

Start with a name. We will take it from there.

Descendants write to us from every corner of the country. Most of them begin with one surname and a half-remembered county. That is enough to open a file.

Burial Grounds

Where the names are still standing

Limestone weathers fast in this country. We read, photograph, and map the stones while they can still be read, and we walk visitors out to them whenever we are asked.
